Michael and I offer “bonus sessions” in the course of our trainings. What are these? Class typically ends at 5:00 pm. Once or twice during a training, we offer to stay later for whoever wants to attend and present special topics for an hour or two.
These topics are voted on by students, offerings such as instant self hypnosis training, how to start and market an NLP practice, NLP for sales and business success, or a reiki attunement and reiki training lesson.
Let’s talk about the reiki.
Michael and I are both Reiki Master Teachers in Usui Reiki. Reiki is a hands-on (or off) methodology to access life force energy and accelerate healing, either for yourself or others. The someone can be in the room with you, or across the globe. It can be physical healing. It can be emotional healing. Or both.
I (Connie writing here) perform the attunements for Reiki levels 1 and 2 for each student, including distance healing. And, as in any work we do, test the reiki.
Then I give a complete lesson and some take home materials on how to turn on the reiki, how to send the reiki, how to use reiki to manifest goals, and more. I don’t teach a super formalized system of reiki, it’s more what I call “intuitive reiki.” We also give a certification and diploma for students acknowledging them as reiki practitioners.
Reiki was included in my first NLP training, and it’s one of my favorite tools. I use it for myself and in my client work. I believe that it’s something powerful and wonderful. If students want this reiki bonus session, we offer it. If you’d rather learn how to use NLP to be amazing at sales, we’ll do that instead. Student choice!
These bonus sessions are what I call “an extra piece of chicken” for your tuition dollars.
